For the past 4 years UBC A Cappella has sent some of its members to compete in the United States in the ICCA (International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella). This is the competition that the popular film, Pitch Perfect is based off of.
Being part of an ICCA team requires 2-4 hours rehearsal per week, increasing as the competition date approaches. The competitions are hosted in the United States, so you must have any necessary documentation for travelling there.

It is important to note that being a part of our ICCA groups is a full-year commitment. It will require at least two rehearsals per week from October through to the competition date, which will be on a weekend in early 2018 somewhere in the Pacific Northwest.
The ICCA is run by Varsity Vocals; all information pertaining to the competitions and events can be found at www.varsityvocals.com
